Lady Cardinal and Seagrape

$ 165.00

Cardinals aren't usually associated with the tropics, but they live there and can often be found near the shoreline. Lady Cardinals don't get much attention compared to their red male mates but are equally charming with bright orange beaks and pinkish-grey feathers. You can often see them in the mangroves or multi-hued Seagrape trees along the water's edge.

In this colorful piece, hand-painted nature prints of Seagrape leaves frame the work, which is finished with illustrations of the bird and one of its reddish tail feathers.
