Whether diving clear waters looking for colorful fish to draw, exploring tropical jungles and gardens, or hiking forests looking for fields of ferns, Dawn thrives on the endless inspiration provided by our amazing planet. Largely self taught, she has developed her technique and built a large library of prints from tropical and temperate regions over the past 20+ years. More recently, following the study of Botanical Drawing with colored pencils, she is expanding the theme with drawings of related subjects complementing her prints. Coming from a naturalist’s perspective and an artist’s eye, Dawn’s series of Contemporary Botanicals express a whimsical elegance appreciated and enjoyed by many.
