Most easily identified by a few pairs of fertile pinnae found in the middle of a green sterile frond, these ferns are found in moist woods, on swamp edges, and in both wet and dry meadows. Range: N. Eastern U.S. and Canada. Grows to 72 inches tall.

This print features a border of a yellow Birch leaf in its fall color, flanked by green and purple lily pads, and a rectangular-boxed Common Loon feather.

We also do many variations with this large fern including a variety of different top and bottom borders featuring leaves, small ferns, fish and salamanders. Please contact us if you are interested in discussing options.

This print is on white paper, and is completed with a 22" x 40" double mat... edged in a gold under mat with your choice of a white or cream mat border.
